Waffle Hut in Flatwoods

Good food. Was worth driving from Webster WV . To Sutton WV. Service was good. The facilities was dated the bathrooms was not desirable but for the food and service we had a good experience.

Really good people and good food

Has something for everyone. My children are picky & they found something on the menu they liked. Looking for some home cooking this is the place to go. We'll be back.

I'm from Virginia Beach, VA and I visit Gassaway to visit my mom pretty frequently and this is my favorite restaurant in the whole world! Everyone jokes me because I come from a place where you can literally eat ANYTHING you want ANYTIME, but nothing beats this place. Everything is delicious, the home fries are the best I've ever had, the food tastes like it was home made aand they stay open later than most restaurants. Everyone is very friendly and sweet. No matter if I'm visiting for a couple days or a couple weeks, I will not leave WV without stopping here for some deliciousness.

It is just a nice little quaint restaurant off flatwoods exit. You can get anything to eat. My mom got blueberry pancakes and I got turkey club sandwich. Nothing fancy, home town place with home town people. 😊

My Bff and I decided to try out the waffle Hut tonight, she had Country Fried steak W/ white gravy and Mashed Potatoes and brown gravy, and I had the 3 Honey dipped chicken fingers - they are fantastic, coleslaw, and fries. It's better than going to McDonald's or even Wendy's and Shoneys my opinion.

Cozy Mom and Pop Restaurant with great tasting food and good portion sizes! Servers were fast and knew their way around! Great location right off the Flatwoods exit aswell!

I thought the food was rather mediocre but service was great. The restaurant could certainly use some updating. Personally I think it's far too expensive for mediocre waffles and burnt bacon.

This place is wonderful! My boyfriend and I eat here all the time and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. The food is literally always amazing and its easily one of my favorite places ever.

ick! It smells in here! And $2.55 extra for a SMALL amount of hashbrowns. Coffee is good but it's been the other waitress to come by & refill our cups. Eggs, sausage, toast, omelets ok.We're won't return.

I had rib sandwich.it comes with chips but should be with Fry's for the same price$5.99

Absolutely love the waitresses here! They know exactly what me and the hubby want. We get to go eat breakfast there when my husband is home from work. The food is delicious!!

This is a nice place to eat near the Days Inn. It is easy to access from the highway and is near the centre of the state. The food is pretty good and includes breakfast and dinner items. Besides a good meal, this is a great place for a meet up for friends and family

Everything we had was good. The waitress was very friendly. The prices was about average. Have eaten there many times and always got good food and service.

Stayed at the Microtel near by (which was very clean and very nice). Had a menu for the Waffle Hut so decided to stop. Local owned for some time we were told. Servers Jeanne & April we’re SO SO friendly!! Food was reasonable and delicious as was the coffee and the bacon!! They were updating and doing repairs when we were there. But didn’t bother us. Will def stop again when passing thru next time.

Visited again after hearing reviews from others that the carpet was changed and the good was better.I had the steak hoagie for lunch. It was okay at best. I don't believe that a single light fixture was actually burning all the bulbs it held.However, the place seemed cleaner than last visit. The service was good. And the fries and onion rings we're good. Might try it again, someday.

Food and waitress was excellent

Very inexpensive, very good! Don't allow the appearance to curb you from trying this hidden gem! My family of 6 ate for $40 and are completely satisfied. Even apologizing because they didn't want to try it! The waitress was super friendly and helpful, the local customers were equally as friendly! If we ever stumble this way again we will definitely stop here!

I have been coming to Waffle Hut since I was a kid and it hasnt gotten old. I love their food, the meals are done and on the table in no time, not to mention the best waitresses who are constantly on top of their game. Decent prices & excellent food!! Love it love it love it!!!
